chili and mexican

Last night we ended up making mexican instead. We ate carne asada, with avocado, sour cream, cheese, and salsa. not the best, but good and special for his parents.

the chili went in the fridge for later i guess. here's the basic recipe.

1/2 bag black beans
1/2 bag kidney beans
1/2 bag red beans
1 can tomato paste
1 can tomato sauce
water
1 onion
4 garlic cloves
chili powder
garlic powder
red pepper flakes
cinnamon
paprika
pepper
2 lbs ground beef

Basically I threw everything but the ground beef in the crock pot on high for about 5 hours. then i browned the ground beef in a skillet and then added and mixed into the chili and left it on for another few hours. then we decided not to eat it so it got put in the fridge. I'll let you know what we think later.
